Lorebook - Year 1: The Light.

The group make haste to the castle, entering the courtyard they are met by a figure dressed in worn regal robes holding an old wooden staff. He turns and leads the adventurers inside....

The adventurers stop, a faint clashing of metal is heard in the distance! The Traveller and Fae rush to investigate and are met with the sight of a battle worn knight dueling a skeleton warrior.

The party move closer and notice a sprightly figure picking nuts from a nearby tree. He is bald with blue markings on his head, dressed in long leather robes adorned with leaves and carved wooden trinkets.

The forest is calming, a serene place. Rays of moon and starlight enter from above, flooding the ground illuminating a path. Water droplets find solace on bark, sparkling like diamonds in the light. 

Crows circle and squawk above as the Necromancer slowly walks from his cairn, a figure of death wrapped in cloth, his eyes glow red with hatred. Ancient spirits of evil give life to this creature of the night. 

The Traveller steps out of the portal to find herself in a lush green forest, the ground covered in wild mushrooms, the air filled with colourful butterflies and a sense of peace and tranquility surrounds her...

Rain fills the air. Music, lights and people, so many people fill the streets. A young lady rushes through the crowds to the aid of her father.
